The contest of scientific projects «Scientific discovery that improves the ecology of the native land», organized by the charitable foundation «The Ulytau Educational Foundation» within the framework of the project «Ustaz Ulytau», has ended.
Today we can say that the set goals and objectives have been fully met!
Our competition consisted of 3 stages:
At the 1st stage, groups from 32 schools were registered to participate, students checked their level of English.
287 students took part in the testing from September 23 to 28, including 110 children from Zhezkazgan, 75 children from Satpayev, 55 students from Balkhash and 47 students from Ulytau district.
In the second stage, 24 groups passed, from November to February 28, students conducted research on scientific projects.
Following the results of the second stage, 11 best scientific projects were admitted to the final.
The uniqueness of our competition is that the scientific project was carried out in three languages, the teams that made it to the final defended their scientific projects in English before the jury.

🥇1st place-Lyceum School No. 4 named after Abai, Satpayev, The team’s trip to England for two weeks for training and the journey.
