В Нур-Султане открыл двери Canada House

Canada House opened in Nur-Sultan

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan hosted the opening of Canada House, a social and cultural project founded to promote Canada as a country for continuing education of Kazakhstani graduates in higher educational institutions. The project was initiated by “The Ulytau Educational Foundation”.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, His Excellency Alan Hamson. Canada House will become a symbol of partnership and friendship between the two countries. Today, the project has become the home of Canadian International School Nur Sultan, the first school in Kazakhstan and Central Asia to offer a dual diploma: a Kazakh diploma and a Dogwood Diploma (BC). Already in September 2022, Canadian teachers, together with their Kazakh colleagues, will meet the first 50 students, winners of the competition for a 100% scholarship provided by the foundation.
