The ULYTAU intellectual board game is an author's project of the history teacher, vice-principal of the Canadian International School Astana, Raushan Akimbekova.
The purpose of creating an innovative educational game is to form national consciousness and respect for the historical heritage through the popularization of the centuries-old history of Kazakh people, as well as key historical events and great personalities who determined the fate of the country from ancient times to the present day.
The ULYTAU intellectual board game has already established itself among schoolchildren. Children note that while playing, they remember historical facts better, and the game helps high school students prepare for the UNT (Unified National Test). There are currently 120 questions about the history of Kazakhstan in three languages. The game was developed on behalf of the “Public Foundation “Charitable Foundation “The Ulytau Educational Foundation” in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
