Teachers of the “Ustaz Ulytau” Project Won Prize Places

We congratulate the teachers participating in the Center for Pedagogical Transformation “Ustaz Ulytau” project on winning prize places at the regional stage of the “Pedagogical Ideas” competition, organized by the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Competition results:

1st place: Aimagambet Almira Aidoskyzy — Biology teacher, Secondary School No. 13, Zhezkazgan

Project topic: “CLIL in Biology: Trilingual Biology Teaching Through Cartoons”

2nd place: Kachur Olga Grigoryevna — Biology teacher, Secondary School No. 22, Zhezkazgan

Project: “Integration of NXplorers Tools and Systems Thinking into the Environmental Sections of the Biology Curriculum”

3rd place: Sabitbekkyzy Akbota — Mathematics teacher, Specialized School No. 9, Zhezkazgan

Project: “Exploring Spatial Figures in a New Format: 3D Geometry Cards”

All winners have advanced to the national stage of the competition.

It is important to note that throughout the academic year, teachers undergo training in CLIL methodology and also participate in the annual “CLIL Methodics and Tools” competition organized by the CPT “Ustaz Ulytau”.
