CIS Astana Terry Fox Run: Together for a Meaningful Cause

The annual Terry Fox Run, organized by Canadian International School Astana, took place today in Zhetysu Park.

Students, parents, and teachers joined the run to support cancer research and honor the memory of Canadian athlete and cancer fighter Terry Fox.

The event featured a warm-up session, a 2 km run, a concert program, and a friendly atmosphere.

The Terry Fox Run has become a cherished school tradition and is held within the framework of the “Adal Azamat” program, aimed at fostering honest, responsible, and active citizens of Kazakhstan.

Deputy Principal for Student Affairs Asel Kushekbayeva noted:

“When we come together for a good cause, children see that even small steps can change the world.”
